Your journal stays on your iPhone. What you write, the photos and voice notes you add, and your moods are stored only on your device. We never receive them. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.
Clasp is made by Humble Loop, a one-person studio run by Mehmet Burak Avci, who is responsible for this app and this policy. Contact: info@ajansmba.com.
Text, photos, voice notes, moods, your evening pages and P.S. notes are saved in the app's storage on your iPhone. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. They are included in your own iCloud or computer backup of the phone if you have that turned on, which is controlled by Apple and you, not by us.
When you export your journal as a PDF (Pro), the file is created on your phone and goes only where you choose to share or save it.
If you turn on the evening reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your phone. No server is involved and no push token is collected.
Clasp Pro is sold and charged by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether your Pro purchase is active. For that, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history (product, price, dates) from Apple. It does not receive your name, email or anything from your journal. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. We use this information only to unlock Pro and to understand purchase numbers in aggregate.
Deleting the app removes your journal from the phone. Because we never had a copy, there is nothing for us to delete. To ask for the anonymous purchase record held by RevenueCat to be deleted, email info@ajansmba.com from the address on your Apple receipt, or with your App Store order ID.
Clasp is not directed at children under 13.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA), you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold almost nothing, most answers will be "nothing", but please ask: info@ajansmba.com.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. If a change affects how your data is handled, the app will tell you before it applies.
