Clasp is made by Humble Loop, a one-person studio. If something is broken, telling us your iPhone model and iOS version gets it fixed faster.
On iPhone Duo, unfold the phone. On any other iPhone, turn it sideways. If nothing happens, check that Portrait Orientation Lock in Control Center is off.
Write something on the right-hand page, then close the book (fold the Duo, or turn the iPhone upright). The day is sealed with wax and counts toward your streak. A day starts at 4 a.m., so what you write after midnight still belongs to the day before.
Add a P.S. On the sealed cover tap Add a P.S., or open the book and write on the P.S. line under your page. The seal stays.
Tap the bell next to the time on the cover to choose an evening reminder or turn it off. If no reminder arrives, check Settings → Notifications → Clasp. You won't get a reminder on a day you have already sealed.
Tap PRO on the cover, then Restore purchase. Pro belongs to the Apple Account that bought it, so sign in with that account first.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Clasp. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. If you are in the free trial, cancel before it ends and you will not be charged. Catching, writing and sealing stay free after cancelling, and your journal is never locked.
Apple handles all App Store refunds; we cannot issue them ourselves. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your journal lives on the phone. Restoring the new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one brings it along. Before switching, you can also export everything as a PDF with Pro.
There are no accounts and nothing from your journal is uploaded. Details: privacy policy.
